A Chilling Plot Unfolds: British Hit Squad Allegedly Posed as Tourists
An Albanian Father Assassinated by a British hit squad, allegedly involved in a deadly Albanian blood feud, lost their fight against extradition yesterday, setting the stage for a chilling murder trial.
The group—including a young mother—allegedly flew to the Albanian seaside resort of Shengjin under the guise of tourists. They checked into a five-star hotel owned by their target, Ardian Nikulaj, and ingratiated themselves with his unsuspecting family.
Family’s Heartbreaking Discovery: Betrayed by Their Guests
According to Nikulaj’s grieving relatives, the group accepted free meals, chatted with his wife, and even played pool with his 13-year-old son, all while allegedly monitoring his every move.
Their sinister plan culminated when a fifth gang member calmly entered the hotel restaurant and shot Nikulaj six times at point-blank range with a Soviet-made automatic pistol before fleeing. Horrific CCTV footage captured the brutal murder, which took place last April. The footage also showed the Britons making multiple visits to the hotel, where they were allegedly seen filming the restaurant’s interior.
Extradition Battle Lost: Judge Sends Cases to Home Secretary-Albanian Father Assassinated
Yesterday, at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, Harriet Bridgeman, 28, and Thomas Mithan, 35, both from Bristol and Harry Simpson, 33, from South London, learned that their legal battle to block extradition had failed.
Bridgeman broke down in tears as District Judge Daniel Sternberg announced his decision to send their cases to the Home Secretary for final approval. The judge is also referring to the case of British-Albanian Edmond Haxhia, from Birmingham, who is accused of orchestrating the hit as part of a decades-long blood feud between the Nikulaj and Haxhia families.
This feud, which has already claimed seven lives, demands that a family avenge a relative’s murder by killing a male member of the rival family, perpetuating a vicious cycle of violence. A ruling on a fifth suspect, Steven Hunt, 50, from Bristol, has been postponed for a future hearing-Albanian Father Assassinated.
